Looking after you

Guests come in all shapes and sizes with all sorts of requests, questions and requirements about or for their stay at MASO DI VILLA. We hope that after 6 years we have the basics right but it is getting the details right that really sets a hotel apart from the rest of the pack. Listed below, in no particular order, are some of the more frequent questions and requests people have of us.  If your particular query is not covered then get in touch, we will be happy to help (info@masodivilla.it).

Check in and out times. Your room should be ready by 3pm. We would ask that rooms are vacated sometime between 10.30am and 11am please.

Can we bring our children along? Of course you can. Although we don’t have family rooms, we can put a children bed (mt. 1,70 long) in our Lilac Superior double room, or an additional single bed (mt. 1,90 long) in our Orange Superior double room. There is a charge for extra beds for children (Euro 20,00 for b&b). We don’t have rooms for 4 people, nor inter-connecting rooms, but we are very used to fitting in children so that they are as close to you as you might wish. You may find that an adjoining twin bedded room for your children may suit your needs.

Do you have a swimming pool? Yes, we have a beautiful new outdoor pool, located in the garden overlooking vineyards. The swimming pool is open daily from 8.00am to 9.00pm, from May to September according to the weather conditions. From 9.00pm to 8am it is closed for cleaning operations (cleaning robot and/or adding chlorine). Sympathetically landscaped, sun loungers are plentiful and towels are available from Reception.

How far are you from town? We are located 2 miles from the small village of Barbisano (newspaper kiosk, bakery, ice-cream parlour) and 4 miles from Conegliano (shops, restaurants…).

Do you have a restaurant? MASO DI VILLA does not have a full service restaurant. We are the best source for, and are happy to suggest, restaurants and trattorias. Otherwise, what we can serve to our guests is a light meal, since the vegetable garden supplements herbs and vegetables during the late spring, summer and autumn months. Our light meals (cold dishes) include seasonal vegetables and local farm products such as cheese and ham, and our fine red wine, NASI ROSSI. 24 hours notice is required for all dinner reservations. Upon availability. Price: €15,00 – €20,00 per person (not including drinks).

Can I bring my dog? We are sorry, MASO DI VILLA cannot accommodate dogs or other pets within the hotel or its grounds; in fact, we have two medium-sized dogs of our own (we adopted them, since they had been abandoned by their former owner), and they are quiet with people but not friendly with other dogs.

Do all your rooms have baths and showers? All our bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, all have showers (no baths).

Do you have wireless broadband? At present we have wireless broadband available in our public rooms. There is no charge for this.

Do I need to bring my hair dryer? All our bedrooms have a hair dryer in them.
