The breakfast

The reason you just have a cup of coffee for breakfast at home is so that when you go away there is no reason to stop you having a delicious home-made breakfast to start the day off well. Home-made jams and fragrant bread, fresh baked biscuits and cakes, seasonal fruit, coffee and tea, natural yoghurt and cereals, with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. A cafetière of freshly ground coffee or a pot of tea should round everything off nicely. During summer, breakfast is served outside under the pergola, amongst the flowers from where the beautiful garden and surrounding hillside and vineyard scenery can be enjoyed.

You may come down to breakfast at anytime between 8am and 10.30am; since breakfast is freshly prepared, we would be extremely grateful if you could let us know every day at what time you would like to have breakfast the day after. Should you be in the unfortunate position of having to leave early we can serve breakfast before 8am if you give us notice the night before.

We are the best source for, and are happy to suggest, restaurants and trattorias (wide choice nearby). The selection of nearby restaurants offer a variety of delicious cuisine, certain to satisfy all palates. A lovely trattoria, “Casa Coste”, is within walking distance (300 metres, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, 8pm-10.30pm. They don’t have written menu).

But during your stay, after a full day of sightseeing, you can also enjoy a light evening meal at Maso di Villa.

The vegetable garden supplements herbs and vegetables for the meals during the late spring, summer and autumn months. Our light meals (cold dishes) include seasonal vegetables and local farm products such as cheese and ham, and our fine red wine, NASI ROSSI. 24 hours notice is required for all dinner reservations. Upon availability. Price: €15,00 – €20,00 per person (not including drinks)
