ARTIGIANATO VIVO – The unmissable craft market exhibition in Cison di Valmarino

From 8 to 17 August 2025, the splendid village of Cison di Valmarino (Treviso) is the setting for the extraordinary annual Crafts Exhibition. Among the alleys, old houses and courtyards of the village, illuminated by the warm light of torches and animated by music and jugglers, talented craftsmen exhibit and propose their products to the public and demonstrate their skills. A journey to discover ancient knowledge and manual crafts, to recreate a curious open-air artisan workshop. “An invitation to admire in the streets, in the squares, under the doors, in the courtyards, the hundred forms in which the art of today, following the traces of the art of yesterday, can become a spectacle: of sounds, of songs, of gestures, of words, or even just of creative expertise, where hands invent the objects that men use for their daily lives…” (Aldo Toffoli)

During the days of the event, every corner of the country is transformed into an open-air workshop, where the skilled hands of artisans shape raw materials into works of art.

We like to think that not all crafts disappear, that there is still someone who creates unique works, which, thanks to their originality, will not make us slaves to a conventional market.

But the exhibition will also be an extraordinary container of cultural events, entertainment, folklore, music, shows.
