FAQs

Guests come in all shapes and sizes with all sorts of requests, questions and requirements about or for their stay at MASO DI VILLA. We hope that after 15 years we have the basics right but it is getting the details right that really sets a hotel apart from the rest of the pack. Listed below, in no particular order, are some of the more frequent questions and requests people have of us. How can I make a reservation?
Our Online Reservation System is the best and more convenient way to book your stay at MASO DI VILLA.

There is no need to spend any more of your valuable time searching alternate travel websites to find a better deal; you will not find a lower qualifying Internet rate available.

What are check in and out times?
In order to allow us to welcome you at the best, check-in (arrival) is by appointment only. We would be most grateful if you could confirm your estimated arrival time (between 3pm and 8pm), at least one day prior to your arrival. Please note, MASO DI VILLA is a small family run hotel, we do not have a 24 hours reception.
Depending on availability, an early check-in is possible, after 12.30pm (not before) by prior arrangement, for an additional charge of Euro 25,00 per room. We regret we cannot accept late check-in / arrivals.

Check out is from 8am to 11am.
Guests can enjoy the garden and the swimming pool after checking out of their room at 11am; please contact us for details and extra charges. Subject to availability.

What time is breakfast served?
We serve our delicious “home made” breakfast between 8am and 10.45am, seven days a week. Should you be in the unfortunate position of having to leave early, we can serve a small breakfast before 8am if you give us notice the night before.

Do you have a restaurant?
MASO DI VILLA does not have a full service restaurant. We are the best source for, and are happy to suggest, restaurants and trattorias (wide choice nearby). The selection of nearby restaurants offer a variety of delicious cuisine, certain to satisfy all palates.

Our bar service may provide an interesting option: we serve a tasty selection of beverages and snacks. 

What about your winery and wine tasting?
MASO DI VILLA’s is a small winery. We are dedicated to producing a wine of quality and distinctiveness that reflects our unique terroir and microclimate. Savour the pleasure of sampling wines on their home ground, within sight of the vines on which they grew and of the cellar in which they were produced and matured.
We offer two tasting option: the classic personal wine tasting, and the “wine experience”, that gives you the opportunity to visit our vineyard and winery. Here are some more information about them.

Do you have daily housekeeping?
Cleanliness is a top priority here at MASO DI VILLA, and we do not take this issue lightly. Our housekeepers will clean and sanitize your room every day during your stay. If you would like your room made up we ask you to vacate it by 11.00 for our maids to gain access.

Do you have a swimming pool? 
Yes, we have a beautiful outdoor pool, located in the garden overlooking vineyards. The swimming pool is open daily from 8am to 9pm, from April to October according to the weather conditions. From 9pm to 8am it is closed for cleaning operations (cleaning robot and/or adding chlorine). Sympathetically landscaped, sun loungers are plentiful and towels are available from Reception.

How far are you from town?
We are located 4km (2,5 miles) from the small village of Barbisano (newspaper kiosk, bakery, ice-cream parlour, bank) and 7km (4,5 miles) from Conegliano (shops, restaurants…).

How far is MASO DI VILLA from the train station and from the airport?
The closest train station is in Conegliano, at 4,5 miles (www.trenitalia.com). The taxi stand is in front of the station, and there is a big free parking at 200mt (0,3 miles). Treviso airport “A. Canova” is located 30km (19 miles) from MASO DI VILLA (www.trevisoairport.it); Venice airport “Marco Polo” is located 54km (34 miles) from MASO DI VILLA (www.veniceairport.it).

Can we bring our children along? 
Of course you can. Although we don’t have family rooms, we can put a children bed (mt. 1,70 long) in our Lilac Superior double room, or an additional single bed (mt. 1,70 long) in our Orange Superior double room. There is a charge for extra beds for children. We don’t have rooms for 4 people, nor inter-connecting rooms, but we are very used to fitting in children so that they are as close to you as you might wish. You may find that an adjoining twin bedded room for your children may suit your needs.

Do you have wireless broadband? 
We have free Wi-fi wireless Internet access for guests during their stay.

Do all your rooms have baths and showers? 
All our bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, all have showers (no baths).

Do I need to bring my hair dryer? 
All our bedrooms have a hair dryer in them.

Is there air conditioning?
No we don’t have air conditioning anywhere in the hotel.

Do you have smoking rooms?
No, the hotel is strictly non-smoking throughout and a Euro 100 cleaning fee will be charged to any guest who smokes inside the building.

Can I bring my dog? 
Our “dog friendly” policy welcomes small size (maximum 10 kg), well behaved dogs, only upon reservation, maximum 1 little dog per room. Euro 20,00 per stay.Our grounds will make your four legged family members feel right at home and totally relaxed.

For your comfort and that of our other guests, we simply ask that you follow a few
guidelines: our pet policies reflect our respect for your pet as well as for the non-pet owners that stay with us.

Please be kind to our rooms and facilities: bring your dog’s sleeping mattress/bed, toilet needs and feeding bowls. Dogs are unable to enter the breakfast room and the swimming pool, and they are not permitted on the beds or furniture. A deep cleaning fee plus the cost of damages may apply if extra effort in cleaning or repairs by our team upon your departure occurs.

Pets must not be left unattended in your bedroom or any areas of the hotel.

MASO DI VILLA also has a resident dog; Luna is always on hand to show you around the 5 hectars of grounds and she loves to have some attention. Its a Dog’s life!

Do you have private parking?
Yes, we have a private parking (free of charge), close to the house.
